I. Details of the event/activity
Regional Assembly of Information Technology Education or RAITE was conducted by the PSITE Central Luzon on October 21, 2022. This event’s goal is to bring the Information Technology schools of region three closer and promote its excellence among students and coaches. The event was headed by Mr. Chevv Tanglao, and like any other events, the opening remarks is given by the President of the PSITE Central Luzon, Dr. Jonilo C. Mababa. The event consists of talks, such as Introduction to AWS & AWS Educate, given by Mr. Rick Tan of Amazon Web Services, and Cybersecurity Landscape: Mitigating Impact to Privacy by Mr. Melner Balce of Gordon College. The event also includes competitions such as, Mobile Legends, Virtual Dance Competitions, and Video Editing Competitions.
II. Reflections on the webinar/activity give rise to (learnings)
This is my first time to participate in the Regional Assembly of Information Technology Education. With this event, I learned and saw how talented the people in the field of information technology. It is indeed revitalizing to see how active and brilliant these people are, not just in the world of computers.
III. Reflections on possibilities of implementing some of the webinar input on a practical level (Practical application of learnings)
One thing I learned in this activity is that, we can always try different things, rather than be stuck in one thing. Getting out there, participating and engaging, is important to grow as a person.
IV. Positive feedback (on the event organization)
This event was a great experience. The PSITE Central Luzon did it again this year and was a total success. Looking forward to another one like this next year.
V. Suggestions for improvements to be made/consider for future activities
I have no suggestions to deliver. It was a fun experience. A great way to just relax as a student who studies in the field.
